Planning a Disney vacation?
While there are many guidebooks, don’t underestimate YouTube.
YouTube? How could
this collection of videos help plan a Disney vacation? Well, the answer is in the question. YouTube’s collection of videos contains many
dedicated to resorts, attractions, and experiences at various Disney parks
around the world.
When we planned our very first Disney vacation, I reserved
the Disney Sing-A-Long videos on Netflix.
The boy was 4 and the videos gave him some visuals of what to see in the
parks. It worked for us. . . at the
time.
Then, as he grew older and was curious about attractions we
had yet to experience, searching for videos on YouTube was our next source of
information.
Now, he does the searching on his own. Regularly we hear about various character
meet and greets found at Disney parks.
We are invited to watch the small screen with highlights of Disney attractions
or experiences.
Lately, the boy has been “watching” more Disneyland
experiences than Walt Disney World and has “upped” his persuasive tactics in
regards to a Disneyland trip. In essence, he has turned the tables on us
using the same tool—YouTube!
