Dining at Liberty Tree Tavern--Magic Kingdom

Liberty Tree Tavern, a table service restaurant, is located in Liberty Square in the Magic Kingdom. Liberty Tree Tavern serves lunch and dinner daily. Lunch is American cuisine served A la Carte and dinner features American cuisine served family style. We dined at Liberty Tree Tavern when it was still a character meal, featuring favorite characters in Colonial costume.

Here's Chip!

Pluto had a special medal on his collar.

Dale served hugs with dinner.

The restaurant is bustling and the colonial theming is creative, interesting, and authentic. Even using the bathrooms on the second level is an immersive experience. The food is tasty and hearty. All the servers are dressed in traditional colonial garb and there are many tools and artifacts of the time displayed throughout the restaurant. Even the silverware at your table is designed to be from that time period.
While Liberty Tree Tavern is no longer a character meal, it can still be a unique dining stop. Advance Dining Reservations are recommended, but stop in and ask if there are any openings.
There are more dining with characters at or near the Magic Kingdom. Click here to read about dining with characters at Chef Mickey's, click here to read about dining with characters at the Crystal Palace, and here to read about dining at Cinderella's Royal Table.
