Look What Came in the Mail Yesterday!

We must be on some really good mailing lists to get personalized mail from Disney.  This is our second one.  The first was about Disney Cruise Line--click here to read more.  The offer inside was for free dining using the Disney Dining Plan (click here to read more about the Disney Dining Plan) for various 5 night stays between now and December 21.  We don't want to disappoint Goofy, but we were already aware of the magical offer and have been able to take advantage of it--for a 4 night stay!

During our last trip to Disney, friends of ours, who are also Disneyphiles, bumped into a lady with over 60 Walt Disney World Resort visits/stays in the hot tub at Port Orleans--French Quarter.  Yes, over 60 visits!  The lady quickly became an idol as she shared some of her secrets.  One is the web-site Mousesavers, which I believe is already a link on our blog.  Another was to call Disney direct if you have been a repeat customer and find out what codes are behind your name.  You see, if you call Disney to ask about rates, etc.  they will tell you, but you have to ASK about any discounts that might be available, even if you are a first time guest, there may be discounts available to you.  Asking is something the general public may not do or even like to do, yet in this case, asking may save you some money.

I'm curious about what codes are behind our names at Disney.  It has crossed my mind to call and find out, but the thought was fleeting.

In the meantime, let's hope Disney keeps sending me mail that makes me smile!
