Art Walk
We went to the 2nd annual Art Walk on Saturday, held in our downtown area nestled between our historic City Hall, Library, and Central Park. Many artists, vendors, and performers were on hand to sell and demonstrate their wares.
We bumped into a local artist, AYALA, who was offering free caricatures. He sketched a caricature of the boy and I placed a few dollars in his donation jar. I asked if I could take photos and he agreed. AYALA also does political cartoons for our local paper.
It was a beautiful day to stroll along the streets, chat with friends and neighbors, grab a bite to eat, and mostly view the incredible art work on display which included paintings, carving, pottery, jewelry, photography, and sculptures. There was also a sculpture walk and contents at Bridge View Center, just across the river.
