April Fool’s Day has come and gone and the internet was not
short on rumors and “announcements” for gullible folks seeking the latest
Disney news. Since news and information
is suspect at best on April 1, I tend to stay away from the internet, but I did
catch a glimpse of some of the various offerings. . .
An announcement of sorts was made on reputable site that
involved the canceling of the construction of Disney Vacation Club villas at
the Grand Floridian. This information
was gobbled up by consumers of Disney information and reposted in various
places only to be reminded about the date.
Another was that Disney Cruise Line was going to build two
new ships. While the cruise industry is
busier than ever, we will see if this April Fool’s Day news has any teeth or
traction.
Other tidbits like refillable mugs being good for your
lifetime and exciting contest offers were not in short supply.
Bug alas, we now have 364 days until the next April 1 and
once again, most news and information can be trusted.
For those of you who read the Williams Family Blog for news,
information, or entertainment, thank you!
There were no April Fool’s tricks, treats, or jokes to be found
here. Happy reading!
There was also a good one on the west coast about Radiator Springs Racers being closed for a total refurb for the remaining 2013 months. Just plain cruel ;)
