For as many experiences that we have had while visiting Walt
Disney World, there are still SO many things we haven’t done. This post is dedicated to things we haven’t
done—yet—at Disney.
Let’s start inside the parks and the various tours that are
available to guests. We haven’t done a
one of them yet. The top of the wish
list would be the Behind the Steam Trains tour or the Wild Africa Trek.
We’ve never ridden Space Mountain ,
unless you count the time I rode it with my sunburned friend during spring
break our senior year in high school. We’ve
been inside Space
Mountain via the
Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover.
We’ve never ridden the Liberty Belle Riverboat, but have been to Tom
Sawyer’s Island in the Magic
Kingdom . We’ve never been to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
or gotten a hair cut.
None of us has ridden Rock-n-Roller Coaster. Yes, the husband was supposed to ride it the
night he ventured to Hollywood Studios for PM Extra Magic Hours, but he said
the line was too long. I’m game, but it
will be a while for the boy.
We haven’t seen all of the pavilion movies at EPCOT. We’ve seen the movie in Canada and that’s
it. And, of course, there are still 4
countries that we have yet to dine in—Italy, Mexico, China, and, ironically,
the American Adventure Pavilion—unless you count funnel cake or turkey
legs. We’ve also never been to Club
Cool. We’ve been by it, nearby, but have
never gone in. Next trip!
At Animal Kingdom we have never been in character meeting
trail at Camp Minnie Mickey. We’ve met
characters near and across from the trails, but we have never set foot inside
one of the trails.
Outside the parks, the list is much longer. We have yet to go to DisneyQuest at Downtown Disney or take a balloon ride in
Characters in Flight. We’ve never bowled
or seen a movie at Downtown Disney.
We’ve never been to Blizzard
Beach or played golf except at Fantasia Gardens or played tennis. We have never rented a boat, took advantage
of fishing, or done any of Sammy Duvall’s water sports.
We haven’t been to the Luau at the Polynesian Resort or
ridden the ferry to get from the TTC to the Magic Kingdom
or reverse.
We haven’t tried a Disney spa or any signature dining
experiences. The boy hasn’t been to any
of the kids clubs on property or had hired child care during any of our
trips.
Then there’s the Richard Petty driving experience and the
whole ESPN Wide World of Sports that have eluded us.
Then there are the many restaurants and resorts yet to be experienced.
With a list this long of things we have never done at
Disney, there is even more reason to return for many more trips. As if we needed a reason!
What’s on your “yet to do at Disney” list?
