We May Have Travel Buddies for an Upcoming Disney Cruise
On our last cruise, the husband and I were commenting on the groups of friends and families that were cruising together and wouldn’t it be great to have friends we could cruise with too. I remember one group, from another cruise—all adults—who take Disney cruises together. We would see them out and about in the evenings taking pictures with the characters. I even spoke to one of the couples who told us that they live in the Northwest and their friends are scattered about the country, but they regularly meet up to cruise Disney together. What fun!
And, while we meet people while cruising, it would be nice to be able to share the experience with folks we know.
So, we—our new cruise buddies and us—are scheduled to take the same Disney cruise next March. We have the same travel agent who is handling our reservations and coordinating dining so that we can share a table during our rotational dining schedule. And, we visited about possibly sharing a cabana on Castaway Cay’s family beach. Daily rentals are around $400, making them quite pricey for a single family. But sharing makes them less expensive and there is plenty of room—I’ll have to write about the cabanas another time.
We know other families who regularly travel to Walt Disney World together, too. Maybe someday, we’ll have travel buddies to go there as well!
