Many of the cast from OCCP’s Wizard of Oz sang in Central Park for Lunch in the Park, held each Friday in June, July, and August.
OCCP is gearing up for the production of Wizard of Oz. Performances are scheduled for Sept. 3, 4, and 5 at Bridge View Center. Mark your calendar for the show!
The cast has about 150 children ranging in age from 5 to 16. It is truly amazing to see how a musical production of this size and complexity comes together. The adults who work with the children are amazing!

Central Park is also where we were married. The husband said that being at Central Park on Friday reminded him of our wedding, as the heat index of 105. It was quite hot the day we got married, too. He often recalls it as “being married on the surface of the sun.”
As you can see in the photo above, the boy has finally gotten his hands on the microphone—his continuous goal. If we are at any event involving a microphone, he schemes to find a way to get the microphone. This was one of the few times he actually made it. I wonder where that need comes from?
