Tony's Town Square Restaurant

Do you remember the scene in Lady and the Tramp when Tramp takes Lady to Tony’s—the restaurant that he visited frequently at the back door looking for a bite to eat—and Tony gives Lady and Tramp a plate of spaghetti to share?  Well, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant’s theme is based on that scene from Lady and the Tramp.

Tony’s is conveniently located on Town Square at the Magic Kingdom on Main Street, U.S.A., right next to the Town Square Theater and offers lunch and dinner daily.  The menu is full of Italian favorites like spaghetti and meatballs and chicken parmigiana.  There are also great desserts including gelato!  Tony's also offers guests indoor and outdoor seating.

Our experience at Tony’s was fantastic.  We were seated within a few minutes of checking in for our reservation.  And, there were two large dispensers of ice water and ice water with fruit available for guests just inside the lobby so that we could quench our thirst being that it was such a hot day.

Our table was right next to the fountain featuring Lady and the Tramp.  The service was incredible—fast and efficient.  The wait staff was attentive and did their best to serve guests quickly, but without rushing.  It was as if they knew the guests wanted to eat and then get back to the magic that is Magic Kingdom.  Though, guests wishing to linger were not rushed.  (I so wish other restaurants had a similar service philosophy!)

The food was hot, filling, and delicious.  We took a time out to replay the spaghetti scene from Lady and the Tramp. 

Dessert was yummy!  All of us enjoyed a sweet treat at the end of our meal.

There is only one downside to Tony’s and that is the restroom, specifically, the ladies’ restroom.  There are only 3 stalls.  There is ALWAYS a wait!  Disney—it’s time for a bathroom expansion at Tony’s!

We had dined at Tony’s before, but it was a long time ago—trip #1 or #2.  So, it was great to visit again.  Tony’s has moved up on our list of favorite restaurants and I imagine we will be dining here again very soon.
