ADR's Made for Trip 10!

The Advanced Dining Reservations or ADR’s for Walt Disney World trip number 10 have been made!

Our travel agent phoned to confirm as she had to switch a couple of our evening meals which was no big deal and then followed up with an e-mail containing our confirmation numbers.

We will be staying for three nights at the Walt Disney World Resort following our cruise on the Disney Dream.  We are also returning to Coronado Springs—which has become our new favorite on property resort.

So, our list of restaurants includes ‘Ohana’s for dinner—a staple in each of our trips.  I think the husband and boy both drool at the idea.  Just give me the dumplings, pomegranate lemonade, shrimp, and dessert and I am very happy.

A new to us restaurant is Whispering Canyon located in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.  While I am looking forward to the meal, I am also looking forward to getting to/from Wilderness Lodge and exploring the resort.

Our third meal will be at 50’s Prime Time Café at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  We have eaten there before, but it has been a while.  The fellas are looking forward to the milk shakes.

There was one hitch with our reservations and that was the Cast Member told our travel agent that there was “limited resources” for our 50’s Prime Time Café ADR.  This means that we may not be able to sit together for our meal.  Now, this can sometimes happen with traveling parties with large numbers of people, but we are a party of 3.  I am also wondering if it has anything to do with the fact that the boy will be an “adult” in the eyes of Disney for our next trip—in terms of the Dining Plan and his ticket.

I’m not worried. . . yet.  I envision us checking in prior to our ADR and letting the Cast Members see that we are a family and ideally would like to dine together.  Otherwise, the boy can join another family and the husband and I can enjoy a meal.  Or, I can join another family’s table.  I would liken it to the show “Wife Swap.”  This will be just another adventure and possibly a story.
