On Sunday, American
Homefinding held its
annual Healthy Family Fest at Greater
Ottumwa Park. Many individuals and organizations were on hand to provide activities for kids. Fun, food, and prizes were on hand for all participants.
Iowa State Highway Patrol was on hand to talk about bicycle safety and pass out bags of goodies.
Human Bowling was one of the activities kids could participate in along with the pool of "oats" for scooping, etc.
Students from the high school were on hand to apply
tattoos to willing participants.
Tours of the fire truck were also a part of the festivities. The boy got to sit in the cab and learn about all the knobs and switches.
A fun time was had by all who attended. What a great event to encourage healthy families.
