The American Adventure Pavilion at EPCOT

It took us 6 visits to Walt Disney World, but we finally made a stop at the American Adventure Pavilion in EPCOT on our last trip. The American Adventure Pavilion is smack dab in the middle of World Showcase. The building itself is inspired by Colonial buildings.

We were able to catch the last performance of the day of the Spirit of America Fife & Drum Corps. This patriotic group performs for 15 minutes in front of the pavilion. They play approximately every 45 minutes starting at 11:30 or 12:15 depending on the day. Check your Times Guide for exact times.
For us, the crown jewel of the pavilion was the a cappella group Voices of Liberty. They sang several patriotic songs while their voices danced off the rotunda ceiling that acoustically was amazing. This group performs for about 15 minutes. They sing about every 45 minutes starting at 11:45 or 12:30 depending on the day.
As always, the efficient Disney machine has made it so that you can watch the Fife & Drum Corps then make it inside for the Voices of Liberty.

Next is the Hall of Flags which lead to the entrance to the American Adventure show.

The American Adventure show is a mix of audio-animatronics, music, and film. The show's hosts are Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain. The two hosts take you on a journey through America's history and share their thinking of events such as the Boston Tea Party. And, many other historical figures appear throughout the show. The sets change frequently and seamlessly. The show lasts approximately 30 minutes.

We enjoyed the American Adventure Pavilion very much. It is hard to get the song out of your head when you leave and the whole pavilion makes you proud to be an American. Even though it took us several trips to find this jewel, we are sure glad we made the effort this trip. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
